Epilogue
It's been ten years since they graduated from high school. Rose is now a nurse and works in the hospital though it takes much of her time but she still tries to balance it with her family.
She is now married to Jake and that is her greatest achievement. They have a boy three years old and she is three weeks pregnant, she can't be happier with her life right now. Matt and Cara married two years ago, they took their time unlike Jake and Rose who got married immediately after college.
Jake went to a different university from Rose. It was their hardest but it made the bond stronger. Matt and Cara went to the same college lucky for them they are always glued together.
Jake is a website designer and after his name was cleared getting into the university of his choice wasn't much of a problem anymore and his parents apologised, Nate too apologised after a while things got back to normal. He forgave Vanessa but she left the country and nobody have heard from her since then and I think nobody cares.
Laura died three months after clearing Jake's name but Jake gave her the best three months of her life
"Ouch" Rose yelps as her son bounces on her.
"Mama, mama wake up" Dan their three year old son shakes her.
"Five more minutes" she pleaded Today is her day off and she enjoys her sleep on her off days unlike Jake that works from home, she is always jealous of Jake having his own time but she refuses to quit the job since she loves helping people.
"Come on, dad have a surprise for you" Dan kept pestering her. It's funny how he calls his mother mama and his father dad instead of papa.
"OK am up" she said rubbing her eyes.
She came downstairs and was shocked when she heard everybody scream.
"Surprise" she looked and saw the write up, happy birthday Rose, she saw her ever cute husband who is more handsome now he's older, Rose thinks he gets more handsome everyday. She couldn't stop herself from running to him and throwing her hands on him.
"Thank you love" she said taking the scent of her husband.
"My pleasure" he replies.
"Come on we all played a part" Matt complained then Rose took notice of them and greeted everyone.
Matt, Cara, Mr and Mrs Nelson is here and also Nate, Mr and Mrs Hugh and Nate girlfriend Jenny, they're all one big happy family.
"Here mom" Dan hands Rose his present which was a bangle made of straw though rough and ugly but you can see his love on it.
"Thanks my little man" she says and wore the bangle.
She made the wish and cut the cake and everybody wished her a happy birthday and just like always Matt started devouring the cake.
Jake walks closer to Rose and whispers "I made your wish came true, the wish you made 10 years ago for families to wish you a happy birthday, so you see pretty girl am your star".
And just like 10 years ago he still have the same effects on her.
"Now you will have to grant my wishes again but in the next 50 years" she said trying to keep the herself sane
"What? you made a wish that far?" Jake asked surprisingly.
"Yes I did, and I also dared to wish for lots of grand kids" she smiles
"Alright, I will grant your wish pretty girl, after all am your star" Rose felt the electricity pass through her it's been more than 10years when he first called her pretty girl and it gets her every time like the first time
Her first love is her last love and it have everything she ever wanted their love have not always been bed of roses it have its up and down but it's been beautiful all the way and she can't ask God for anything more
"Matt drop the cake" Cara yelled at her husband and everybody started laughing
